Macronutrient Amount

A calculator body builders and athletes to determine how many grams of protein, carbohydrate, and fat to consume given the desired target percentages of each macronutrient and an overall energy consumption target. In the calculation a gram of protein and carbohydrate are assumed to contain 4 Calories and fat is assumed to contain 9 Calories per gram.

Macronutrient Amount Variables

Your ratio of protein, carbohydrate, and fat should be entered as a desired target of your nutritional plan along with your target Calories.

Protein Percent (PP)
Percent of your energy intake to target as protien.
Carbohydrate Percent (PC)
Percent of your energy intake to target as carbohydrate.
Fat Percent (PF)
Percent of your energy intake to target as fat.
Total Calories (TC)
Total daily dietary energy intake targeted by your nutritional plan. Value for any time period can be used and resulting answers will cover the sme time period.
Protein Amount in grams (GP)
Grams of protein to consume to meet the target energy intake at the target protein percent.
Carbohydrate Amount in grams (GC)
Grams of carbohydrate to consume to meet the target energy intake at the target carbohydrate percent.
Fat Amount in grams (GF)
Grams of fat to consume to meet the target energy intake at the target fat percent.
